March was a strong month for BESS, but April outperformed it. The average daily revenue from DA + IDC optimization for our model battery rose by 27% month-over-month, making April the fourth-best month in the entire analysis period.

...we’re shifting from showing annualized revenue to a 12-month rolling sum (green line) that is, the total revenue over the past 12 months. For April, this includes May 2024 through April 2025. The purple bars represent monthly revenues (not annualized).

What do we see?

Our model battery’s rolling sum has now reached 873k PLN, continuing to grow as months prior to the market reform (less favorable for BESS in Poland) are gradually replaced with more recent months that reflect stronger, more supportive conditions.
